September 2008: Union Pacific Railroad Switchover UP switched its rail operations to the new corridor on September 22, 2008

August 2008:Temporary Closure at Osgood Road Osgood Road will be closed intermittently between August 15 and August 24, 2008.

April 2008:Temporary Closure at Osgood Road Osgood Road will be closed intermittently between May 7 and May 15, 2008.

April 2008: One Day Schedule Change Construction will begin at 5:30 a.m. on May 5, 2008 along Paseo Padre Parkway immediately north of the homes on Penn Lane between Hancock Drive and the active railroad tracks.

December 2007: Pile Driving Notice
Pile Driving activities to begin near Paseo Padre Parkway in January 2008.

November 2007: High and Main Street Closure Notice East End of Main and High Streets Will Be Closed Beginning the week of November 19, 2007.

November 2007: Washington Blvd and Osgood/Driscoll Road Detour Notice  The new detour roads for Washington Boulevard and Osgood/Driscoll Roads opened in November 2007.

September 2007: Paseo Padre Parkway Detour Road Notice
Traffic was shifted onto the new Paseo Padre Parkway detour road in September 2007.

July 2007: Railroad Avenue Closure Notice Railroad Avenue and access between Main/High Streets and Washington Boulevard was closed in July 2007.

March 2006: Utility Notice Starting in April 2006 for approximately one year, efforts began to relocate fiber optic, water, telephone, electrical, gas, and cable lines to make room for construction activities associated with the Washington Boulevard / Paseo Padre Parkway Grade Separation Project.

August 2005: Drainage Notice. Between summer 2005 and winter 2005, new drainage structures were installed along Washington Boulevard and Paseo Padre Parkway. The embankment road for the future temporary detour road at Paseo Padre Parkway was also built.

June 2005: Demolition Activities Notice. Eight vacant buildings along portions of Washington Boulevard were demolished in August 2005.

Early June 2005: Tree Removal Notice. In June 2005, trees were removed along portions of Washington Boulevard to clear the property in preparation for the demolition of buildings that were acquired by the City.
